Sarah Poekert Currently Sarah teaches contemporary dance, choreography, and creative movement at primary, secondary, and degree level schools across London including being the founder of Thrive Youth Dance Company. Sarah is also working on various international collaborations with Angie Moon Dance Theater having their dance film Places Between shown at Movies by Movers Festival and other various film festivals in America. She also works at Spa Chic doing Marketing and teaching meditation and movement classes. Sarah has also had her work, which explores audience participation, memory, and stimulation of the senses, shown at Trinity Laban, The Point, The Shunt Lounge, the Brick Box, and Trispace Gallery. Since moving to London in 2009 Sarah gained her MA in Creative Practice from Laban and continues to enjoy all the quirks London has to offer namely sweeties and wine at Drink Shop Do and the view of the night skyline from Waterloo Bridge. |
Zara Rush Currently working in the Creative Leaning Team at Sadler’s Wells, Zara is enjoying progressing her knowledge and skills of arts in community and education settings, arts communications, programming and producing. Her work encompasses a boundary-breaking ethos and Zara takes a huge interest in igniting other people’s visions and feeding in tips and tools to further animate the ideas. Her entrepreneurial streak is flourishing as she makes headway to break into the arts entertainment market with event packages that are unique, thought provoking and invigorating. Previous experience includes Marketing, Press, Events, Dance Teaching, Theatre Producing, Movement Direction, Choreography and Dance Performance. Zara has an incredible amount of energy and creativity that is infectious. She is playful and silly with a hidden dark side that wants to rebel and test limits. |
Joanneke Hopkins
With a background in arts, education and performance, Joanneke has a desire to make things happen. After graduating from the MA The Body in Performance at TrinityLaban, she started creating her own work, teaching contemporary dance at primary and secondary schools and producing site-specific theatre events with 3sACrowd. Currently running Antidote London, an events company using the philosophy of playfulness as a way to live a healthy lifestyle, Joanneke is using her creativity in the programming and production of pop-up events and creative collaborations with other weird and wonderful companies in London. She also spends time studying on the HumanTechnics&ILM Executive Coaching programme and works as a Creative Coach supporting artists in their work. Joanneke founded YourIndiaTour as a result of her love for travelling and enjoys (winning) boardgames, wall climbing and up-cycling pallets (amongst other things). |
